BLOOD STAINS
The key to removing blood from fabrics is to work quickly and NEVER use hot water.
As soon as you bleed on your favourite shirt, or white cotton bedding, blot the stain with paper towels to remove excess. Do not rub.
Immediately soak the article in cold water for at 30 minutes – 1 hour. If the stain does not appear to be budging, treat the stain with a solution of laundry detergent and hydrogen peroxide by blotting gently then rinsing in cold water.
Larger stains should be scrubbed after soaking to remove as much of the blood as possible prior to laundering.
Wash in cool water and airy dry.
