Turn delicates inside out, connect bra hooks and eyelets, zip up zippers and close buttons before washing to avoid twisting, tangling and snagging.

It is best to hand wash your delicates in a cold water tub with mild liquid detergent, using your hands to agitate the water.

If you must use a washing machine, invest in a mesh lingerie bag. Wash delicates and bras using cold water on the delicate cycle in mild detergent.

Remove padded lingerie before the spin cycle and rinse under cold, running water to remove soap residue.

Avoid the automatic dryer. Instead, dry flat outdoors in the shade.
