October 2010

Mr Clinton Wallace, RAQ award winner fashion designer, joined elaundry from Sydney after most joyously becoming a young grandfather and moving home to Brisbane to enjoy his new guise. Clint is an exceptional master of fabric, yes, we all agree yet on top of this, Clint gallantly managed our Clayfield store for Kellie, our manager, whilst she had a much needed break. elaundry is very very busy with high expectations from our clients who know well we keep record of each and every one of their personal preferences! Kellie knows all this off the top of her head and Clint stepped up to the challenge and made so many people happy in the process. Thank you so much Clint for being so broad thinking as well a super seamstress or Super Seam Man more like it!. tm x

Mr Robbie Thapa - Presser

Robbie has shown the utmost caring and benevolence this past month generously giving of his time, energy and respect in guiding our trainees received via the Brisbane Youth Service. Robbie, we totally respect your kind heart as well as being able to maintain your usual very high quality standard of garment pressing. You are our local super hero. Thank you so much! tm x

Kerry Winterburn - General Manager

We are so proud of Kerry and her drive! Here she is pressing a wedding dress whilst grooving to her ipod! Kerry loves what she does and it shows. You can feel a happy laundress when you wear her garments she lovingly cleaned and pressed for you. Thank you so much Kerry for your energy, direction, passion and knowledge, you are invaluable to elaundry and especially to me! tm x
