elaundry & the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre combine forces in an effort to save 1,000,000 litres of water!

elaundry & the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) have joined forces in a new initiative to save 1,000,000 litres of water over the next twelve months.

elaundry launders hundreds of thousands of uniforms for BCEC per year. By simply implementing new systems and strategies, we can save over 1,000,000 litres of water per year.

With this new water saving initiative comes an energy saving too. By cutting down our water use, the gas and electricity used to run and heat the water is drastically reduced.

Level 6 water restrictions may have been lifted, but we are far from drought-free.

Taking every step possible to save water and the environment is imperative for our future earth.

elaundry is in negotiations with Citroen to import their electric vans!

On her visit to France in April, Toni-Maree saw the latest Citroen Berlingo Electrique Van, and thought straight away, "This is what elaundry needs!"

The vans are entirely electric (no fuel what so ever) and use minimal electricity to charge the battery.

But, when Toni-Maree returned to Australia and contacted Citroen, to her dismay, the vans aren't available here!

That's not stopping Toni-Maree! She is in negotiations with Citroen to import the vans from Europe here to Australia.
