UNDERARM STAINS
There are a number of different methods to remove deodorant stains from clothes.
Firstly, to remove stain, mix a tub of 1 cup white vinegar to 4 cups of warm water. Soak the garment in the solution, gently rubbing the affected area between your hands. If the stain persists, soak in the solution for an hour.
Or, try saturating the armpit area of your garment with freshly squeezed lemon juice and a spoonful of table salt. Rub gently between your fingers.
If your armpits are stained with deodorant and odour, mix up a paste of baking soda and water to apply directly to the stain. Let it stand for 30 minutes before brushing off.
Launder the garment according to fabric care label instructions, then air dry outdoors. For whites, dry in the sunlight.
