WAX STAINS
Wait for the wax to dry before trying to remove it. Use a dull knife or spoon to gently scrape as much of the max off the fabric as possible. Use a lifting motion to avoid pushing the wax deeper into the fibres of the fabric.
Lay the garment on your ironing board or a flat surface with a towel laid down. Place a piece of blotting paper or paper towel over the affected area and run a warm iron over it a few times to melt the wax. The paper will absorb the wax as it melts.
Next, treat the oily stain that remains with a stain removal treatment until stain has lifted. Wash as usual in hottest water safe for material.
