- Full Consultation with the Bride
This private meeting is to discuss your preferences for cleaning conditions and styles. For example, you may prefer organic cleaning or have an allergy. At this chat, we can also offer some advice on how best to take care of your dress on the big day! Nervous fathers giving away the Bride often stand on the dress or veil– what to do now? Other items can also be considered with Dry-Cleaning in mind, like cleaning and packaging the trousseau for travelling or the Mother of the Bride’s special outfit.
- Consultation with the Dress Designer and/or Retailer
All gowns are incredibly special to their Bride. We can ensure Fine Quality Dry-Cleaning care by consulting with the actual Wedding Dress Designer, which gives the bride the opportunity to provide advice about the future of their design! The retailer who lovingly sold you your dress is also important and we talk to them in order to provide the best possible service for you. elaundry Valet intends for all our relationships to be built upon a mutual respect for our love of fabric and its beauty.
- Provision of a Special Garment Bag (complete with collection labels)
We provide our select Hotels and Function Centres with a Wedding Dress sized Laundry bag with elaundry Valet clearly printed on it. Thanks to all the careful details collected in our registration form, the full delivery instructions will be noted on the paperwork attached for clear reference for all family, wedding co-ordinators, housekeeping and concierge.
- Collection of the Wedding Dress from the Hotel or Function Centre
Simply place your Dream Wedding Dress into our elaundry Valet bag and we will follow all of your wedding wishes from our initial consultation. The bag is collected with care the following morning right on schedule and hurried away to our Wedding Valet Team. Please let us know who to talk to so we can meet the actual person in charge of dress. For example, the Matron of Honour may take possession if desired.
- Special Cleaning Service for the Dress
Please allow a 2 week window for specialist care by our Hand Fine Quality Dry-Cleaning Team. The result - your Wedding Dress delivered, restored and boxed to your home upon arrival from your honeymoon!
- One Complimentary Mend (e.g. small tear or minor beads or button replacement)
We have a large collection of beads, sequins and clasps on site for delicate repairs. The Wedding Valet difference is that we care. Our team of Quality Controllers, Detailers, Tailors and Seamstresses treat each and every dress as if it were their own. The first mend is with our compliments. We can consult with the Bride or Matron of Honour if more repairs are needed. We will happily take care of your Dream Dress ensuring the small tears become invisible. We want your dress to be prepared for the next generation with love.
The veil is so often forgotten, yet it is the crowning glory of the Bride’s regalia. We take as much care with your veil as with your dream gown and include this as part of our Wedding Dress Valet Service Package.
- Preferential Service For The Bridal Party
A selection of vouchers is included as part of the package so that the Bridal Party can have their gowns/suits dry cleaned at a reduced cost.
- Emergency 24 hour Contact
If your fabulous wedding involves an accident with your wedding dress that you think may not wait until the morning, please have your venue call us so we can help you with stains care.
- Hand Delivery to the Bride upon return from her Honeymoon
Our Wedding Valet Dress Service Package includes free pick up and delivery within the Brisbane Metro and/or Gold Coast Metro Areas depending on your venue arrangements. Of course, interstate and international deliveries can be arranged, though distances will incur additional C.O.D delivery charges unless otherwise organised. We can offer indicative prices for most often delivered to areas like Tokyo, New York and New South Wales.
